Building a future for the 'Dilute Labrador coat colors'
We feel that this is the most important service we have to offer----We are very excited to be adding this new service in the weeks to come, it is our "Rescues" pages/services. These pages are for the purpose of helping those dogs in need of homes, to find that forever, loving family home, to call their own. If you have or know of someone that has a rescue dog, of any kind, please feel free to contact us about our free 'Rescue' listings. There is no charge to list rescue dogs on our rescue pages and although we want to do our part in helping every Labrador find the home he/she deserves, we are open to listing any dog that may need a home. Please watch for our 'Rescue' pages to become available in the next few weeks. We look forward to doing our share to help those dogs in need of finding their forever home! We are currently looking for anyone that has titled their Dilute Labradors or Dilute Factored Labradors. If you have titled, or own a titled Dilute Labrador or a titled Dilute Factored Labrador we would love to hear from you, as we are in the process of building our "BRAGS PAGE" here on the SLB site, and would love to offer you a free post, advertizing your dog or dogs, and their accomplishments. The more people we have showing off their titled dilute and factored Labs, the more encouraging it is for everyone else to follow in your footsteps. As a site that promotes responsible breeding and is dedicated to the betterment of the breed, we are now working on developing a 'Labrador Rescue" page, right within this site, that should be up and running within the next month. There is no charge for this, and no obligations or responsibilities in being a member, we are just trying to encourage everyone we can, whether you are just an owner or you are a breeder, to join our forces, in creating an organized "Dilute Labrador Group", to promote our strength in numbers, to show the public just how serious we are about continuing the support, improvement and goal of acceptance, for the Silver and Charcoal Labrador. So we welcome and encourage as many members as possible to join. Joining this group only entails letting us know that you would like to be a member, providing us with your name, and contact info, and you will be listed on the "Dilute Labrador Group" page. Please feel free to pass the word, tell your friends and your relatives, your fellow breeders, your clients, etc., all over the world, as it is open to all, about the new "Dilute Labrador Group" (or as we can call it Silver Labrador Group/Charcoal Labrador Group). As promised, this will be like an on-line Dilute Labrador, mini magazine, to start with. If you have any interesting information that you think would make a great story, or write up, or something of importance that you would like to share, that you feel would be beneficial for Dilute Labrador Breeders everywhere, please feel free to let us know. This magazine will feature, stories, helpful tips and info for not only breeders but owners, along with unique Dilute Labrador information and updates, along with breaking news on the Dilute Labrador debate, so as to keep everyone informed. It will offer spotlights on breeders, and their accomplishments, health help, a FAQ section, training articles, and many many other great things. We are very excited to finally get this on line magazine launched, and we are sure you will enjoy it as well. Watch for this on-line magazine to hit our site with its first publication, sometime in the fall of 09.

If you are someone that has seen the controversy surrounding the 'Silver Labrador' and have some questions about what you have read and seen out there, please feel free to contact us anytime, we are happy to answer your questions that you may have and if we are not able to answer them, we will do the research necessary to try to answer the questions you have. If you are an opposer of the 'Silver Labrador', we dont mind talking with you as well. We are not here to fight with anyone, but would love to speak with you, respectfully, to hear your viewpoints and concerns, and share what information we have, with you.
I hope that this gives you an idea of what our site will be like and what our goals are in publishing this site. It is purely to help out everyone that shares a love of the 'Dilute Labrador Retriever', and perhaps form a group of responsible breeders that share the same goals in their breeding programs, all for the main goal of bringing proper recognition to these great colored Labradors, while offering the public a website that they can utilize in doing their research and in finding a great 'Dilute Labrador Retriever" puppy.
A "members only" Group has now been formed. The pages to this group, are found right within this site. You may access the Group pages and information, complete with Members list, etc, right within this SLB site, by clicking on the 'Dilute Labrador Group" link on this page. We hope to follow the organization and formation of this group, by a unique Club as well, sometime later this year. The goals of this group and club, in summary, will be to promote Improvement breeding, ethics, and the showing, competing and titling, of the Dilute Labrador coat colors and Dilute Factored Labradors. Keep checking back for updates. We now have the Group pages up and loaded and the Group formed, as we already have many members that have listed. If everything goes as planned. We hope to have a unique Club organization formed and up and running by the end of 2009. If you are a Dilute breeder, owner or just a fancier, and you have interest in supporting the cause of the acceptance of the Dilute Labrador coat colors, and would like to join the "Dilute Labrador Group", please feel free to contact us, the invitation is open to everyone.
